RN - Cath Lab

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado
Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS or NRP or PALS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience as a Registered Nurse
Bachelor’s degree in nursing

Job Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care
Evaluate health status through ongoing data collection and assessment
Provide health teaching and counseling
Deliver therapy and treatment directly or through consultation, delegation, supervision, or teaching
Execute delegated medical functions
Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans
Document care according to hospital and regulatory guidelines
Float to other departments as needed within scope of competency and qualifications
Take on-call assignments during a regularly scheduled shift when required
