Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Indiana
- LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum experience within the last year
- Labor and Delivery experience
- BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous nursing experience
- BSN
- Experience in Women’s Care, Labor & Delivery, Post Partum, or NICU
Role Overview
- Provides direct patient care on the unit, including assessments, treatments, admissions, transfers, discharges, patient/family education, and care coordination
- Performs comprehensive nursing assessments, documents findings, and responds to changes in patient condition
- Delegates and oversees patient care tasks as appropriate
- Participates in unit-based activities and quality improvement efforts
