Location
Golden, Colorado
Contract
13 weeks
Schedule
- Variable shifts, including nights
- 12-hour shifts
- 36 hours per week
- Weekends required
- May be placed on call during a regularly scheduled shift
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Colorado
- ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- PALS issued by American Heart Association
- TNCC
- ENPC
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Registered Nurse
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
Job Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care
- Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions
- Provide health teaching and counseling
- Deliver therapy and treatment directly or through consultation, delegation, supervision, or teaching
- Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
- Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans
- Document care according to hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Float to other departments as needed within scope of competency and qualifications
