RN - L&D Travel
Location
- Morristown, New Jersey
Schedule
- Night shift
- 12 hours per day
- 36 hours per week
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Jersey
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
- ACLS
- BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
Role Overview
- Provides nursing care for labor and delivery patients
- Performs comprehensive assessments across pediatric to geriatric populations
- Documents nursing care, patient progress, and patient education
- Follows patient safety protocols, including universal protocol and two patient identifiers
- Supports patient education and pre-/post-operative assessment
- Assists with patient testing and reviews pre-admission testing orders for appropriateness and completeness
