Unit Overview

• Inpatient oncology unit with 30 beds
• Cares for patients with malignant hematologic disorders
• Stem cell transplant and CAR-T infusions are performed on the unit
• Includes research protocols
• Day/night rotations alternate every 2 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Oncology (1 year of experience)
• Oncology experience within the last year
• Bone Marrow Transplant experience
• UHS ONC
• Driver's License

Required for Submission

• Resume with education and work history
• 2 professional references from the last 2 years
• Completed job application
• Employment history form confirming prior employment with the employer, if applicable
• Non-expired photo ID

Required for Onboarding

• Oncology Certified Nurse credential
• 2-step TB test or IGRA with negative results within the last 6 months
• Background check
• OIG search
• SAM/EPLS/GSA/OFAC screening
• Drug screen
• Safety and compliance training modules
• Badge photo

Health Requirements

• Influenza vaccine proof required October through March
• If declining flu vaccine, masking and declination forms are required
• If medically exempt, a medical accommodation form and physician-signed letter are required

Additional Notes

• If TB test is positive, a clear chest X-ray and current TB questionnaire are required
• Candidates who have lived outside the United States in the past 5 years require an international background check
• Ohio residents may need a national database criminal background check for fingerprint requirements
