Computed Tomography Technologist

Job Overview

• Location: Mount Clemens, Michigan

• Scheduled hours: 10 hours per day
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• CT Technologist (2 years of experience)
• CT Technologist experience within the last year
• Phillips equipment experience

Preferred

• Traveler experience

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform computerized tomography scanning procedures
• Set up, monitor, and operate CT equipment
• Transfer and position patients safely
• Obtain patient identification, allergy information, and relevant medical history
• Prepare and inject contrast media intravenously as needed
• Produce and maintain patient images and study records
• Organize the daily patient schedule
• Maintain image quality, calibration, and quality control
• Handle electronic/digital image capture, storage, transfer, and copying
• Monitor patients for allergic reactions and assist with emergency situations, including basic CPR
• Maintain a clean work environment and inventory levels
• Assist radiologists and other physician specialists with specialized radiological procedures
• Review and record patient history and clinical data to support diagnosis
• Maintain registry compliance
• Participate in quality assessment and continuous quality improvement activities
