RN - Med Surg
Location
- Jackson, Michigan
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Shift
- 7PM–7AM
- 12-hour shifts
- 36 hours per week
Job Summary
- Provides leadership in coordinating and delivering quality, compassionate patient care.
- Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, delegate, supervise, and document patient and family care and teaching.
- Communicates pertinent patient and family information to the care team.
- Helps identify and implement solutions when patient goals are not met.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Michigan
- 2 years of Med Surg experience
- Med Surg experience within the last year
- BLS issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by the American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Additional Notes
- Auto offers approved
- May be asked to float to a lockdown unit
- May be required to float to an equal or lesser acuity unit if requested
