Location

• Chamberlain, South Dakota

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Schedule

• 36 hours per week
• 12-hour shifts
• Day/night rotation
• Every other weekend and holiday
• 3 call shifts required during the contract

Unit / Setting

• Med Surg and OB nursing
• Floating between OB and Med Surg
• Up to 5 patients in the Med Surg unit
• Typical Med/Surg ratio: 3–4 patients per nurse, depending on census and acuity

Required Qualifications

• 2 years of RN experience
• 6 months of Med Surg experience in the past year
• 6 months of OB experience in the past year
• BLS before start
• ACLS before start
• NRP required

Preferred Qualifications

• TNCC

Additional Requirements

• Must note in submission if the clinician has ever worked for Sanford Health
• If previously worked for Sanford Health, the end date must be at least 6 months before submission
• Must badge in and out at the facility

Dress Code

• Navy blue scrubs
• No logos
• White undershirt or white lab coat may be worn

Training

• EPIC computer training
• 1 day of OB training
• 1 day of Med Surg training

• 25 beds
