Respiratory Therapist
Job Overview
- Location: Silverdale, Washington
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Nights
- Hours: 36 per week
- Schedule: Full-time night shift, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Washington
- Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
- Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
- Experience working with Neonate patients
- Respiratory Therapist experience
Clinical Setting
- Inpatient hospital setting
- Mostly adult patients, with some pediatric patients through the ED
Key Responsibilities
- Draw ABGs
- Set up BiPAP and ventilators
- Provide nebulizer treatments
- Assist with intubation
- Support conscious sedation and cardioversion standby
Schedule Details
- Weekend shifts required
- One holiday required
- No call requirement
Additional Notes
- Personal scrubs in any color
- Department-specific orientation provided
- A lead therapist is on staff every shift
- Typical patient volume is about 25 treatments per day
- 4+ respiratory therapists are scheduled on nights
- Common equipment includes PB 980, Philips V60, and Respironics Lumis
