Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - CVOR

Location

  • Jersey City, New Jersey

Employment Type

  • Travel/Contract

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

Shift Details

  • Day shift, 4 days per week, 10 hours per day (7:00 AM to 5:30 PM)
  • Every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday)
  • On call twice a week and every third weekend
  • Must work or be on call for 1 of 2 or 2 of 3 holidays per unit requirements

Job Description

  • Must be able to circulate; scrub experience preferred but not required
  • Types of cases include adult open heart and general cases when no hearts
  • Experience required in Main OR, Orthopedics, Vascular, General, Thoracic, and Neuro surgeries
  • Charting system used: EPIC
  • Scrubs provided
  • First-time travelers accepted

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey
  • Minimum 1.5 years of CVOR experience, including experience within the last year
  • BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Experience in Orthopedic Surgery
  • Experience in Vascular Surgery
  • Experience in Thoracic Surgery
  • Experience in Neurology
