Role Summary

Provides direct nursing care
Implements and monitors patient care plans
Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition
Coordinates care across disciplines
Carries out physician and nursing orders
Assesses and coordinates discharge planning needs
Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
Must be able to work in a stressful environment

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
Med Surg (2 years of experience)
Med Surg experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NIH Certification
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Driver's License
