Role Overview

  • ICU unit with medical, surgical, and cardiovascular patients
  • Must be able to float within the critical care service line, including ICU and step down

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Texas
  • ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
  • ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • ACLS issued by American Heart Association
  • NIH Certification
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Driver's License

Onboarding / Compliance

  • Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start
  • AHA BLS and ACLS
  • Specialty exam, core competencies, EKG exam, skills checklist, and education attestation
  • Color vision screening
  • Health statement or physical exam
  • MMR, varicella, hepatitis B, Tdap, TB screening, fit test, and 12-panel drug screen
  • Criminal background check, EPLS, employment verification, and education verification
  • Signed assignment agreement
  • Confirmation of assignment
  • Employment verification for the past 7 years

Additional Notes

  • Influenza vaccine exemption/declination is accepted, but masking is required during flu season
