• Nights
• 12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in North Carolina
• Emergency Department experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• 2 or more years of Emergency Department experience

Job Summary

• Provides direct clinical nursing care in a hospital setting
• Coordinates and delivers patient care using the nursing process
• Works under the Nurse Manager/Director and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients and anticipate discharge needs
• Plan and update care with patients and families
• Deliver care for patients with complex physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs
• Perform bedside point-of-care testing as needed
• Support patient education and continuity of care
• Participate in unit goals, performance improvement, and safe hospital environment practices
