RN - Endo

Overview

• Location: Lafayette, Colorado
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Variable 10-hour shifts; days or 9-hour shifts
• Weekly hours: 36
• Call: Weekday and weekend call required
• Weekends: Yes
• Floating: May float within the perioperative area and occasionally to other nursing units based on business need

Role Summary

• Registered Nurse responsible for the nursing care and safety of patients undergoing endoscopic and/or invasive procedures with or without sedation
• Supports patient and family education, reassures patients, and participates in quality improvement

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Colorado
• Endoscopy experience within the last year
• 1 year of endoscopy experience
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience with GI equipment operation, including ERCP and EUS equipment
