Description
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Travel Assignment
Location
- Morristown, New Jersey
Schedule
- Night shift
- 12 hours per day
- 36 hours per week
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Jersey
- Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree
Role Overview
- Provides nursing care for labor and delivery patients
- Performs comprehensive patient assessments across the lifespan, from pediatric to geriatric
- Delivers direct patient care and supports the care team
- Maintains accurate clinical documentation
- Follows patient safety protocols, including universal precautions and two patient identifiers
- Uses safe transfer techniques and proper body mechanics
- Supports patient and family education
- Assists with pre-admission testing responsibilities when applicable
