RN - Labor & Delivery Travel
Location
- Morristown, New Jersey
Schedule
- Night shift
- 12-hour shifts
- 36 hours per week
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Jersey
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
Role Overview
- Provides nursing care for a labor and delivery travel assignment
- Performs comprehensive patient assessments across the lifespan
- Delivers direct patient care and supports unit workflow
- Documents nursing care, patient education, and progress accurately
- Follows patient safety, infection control, and confidentiality standards
- Supports patient education and pre-/post-operative assessment as needed
- Assists with patient testing and reviews pre-admission testing orders for appropriateness
