Interventional Radiology

Job Overview

  • Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
  • Location: Florence, South Carolina
  • Employment Type: Travel/Contract
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Shift: Day shift, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Call: Required, rotating with two other techs
  • Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend
  • Floating: Not required
  • First-Time Travelers: Accepted
  • Local Candidates: Not accepted

Role Details

  • Position: IR Tech
  • Daily Caseload: 4 patients per tech
  • Case Experience Required: General interventional radiology
  • Case Experience Preferred: Neuro interventional radiology

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in South Carolina
  • Interventional Radiology Technologist (1 year of experience)
  • Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • ARRT (R)
  • SCQRSA

Additional Notes

  • Agency must provide the radiation badge
  • Facility uses Epic for charting
  • OR scrubs are provided
  • All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application
  • Hurricane season assignments may include emergency response duties from June through November
