Surgical Technician
Location: Olney, Illinois
Employment Type: Clinical-Allied
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day

Overview
The Surgical Technician supports the perioperative team during intraoperative patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Required Qualifications
- Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
- Associate's Degree in Surgical Technology or Certificate of completion of Surgical Technology program
- Certified Surgical Technician (CST) or Tech in Surgery – Certified (TS-C)
- BLS certification
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a sterile environment using aseptic principles
- Assist with room turnover, setup, supplies, and equipment coordination
- Perform sterilization, disinfection, and documentation of loads per policy
- Maintain and clean equipment and identify items needing repair
- Support safe patient, coworker, and self-environment practices
