Description
CT Technologist
Location
Elizabethtown, Kentucky
Schedule
- Monday–Thursday, 8:00 PM–6:30 AM
- 40 hours per week
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Summary
Perform CT scans, support patient preparation and education, and assist with image acquisition, processing, quality checks, and radiation safety.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Kentucky
- CT Technologist experience within the last year
- 1 year of CT Technologist experience
- BLS
- ARRT
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years of experience as a Rad Tech in diagnostic radiology
- Experience working as a CT Technologist in a hospital or medical imaging facility
- CT certification by ARRT or another recognized certifying body
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and educate patients for CT procedures
- Operate CT scanner equipment to acquire diagnostic images
- Review images for quality and perform basic image processing
- Follow radiation safety and documentation procedures
- Perform daily equipment checks and quality control
- Support staff education and orientation
