RN - Rapid Response
Overview
- Travel RN position in Johnstown, Pennsylvania
- Specialty: Neuro Med Surg
- Contract length: 6 weeks
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
- Shift details were not specified
- Weekend coverage may include 2 of 4 weekends per schedule, or 4 of 8 weekend shift days; straight weekends may be considered

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Critical Care Float (2 years of experience)
- Critical Care Float experience within the last year
- NIHSS
- BLS
- Rapid Response experience
Preferred / Helpful
- Swallow Screen
- Dysrhythmia competency
- Neuro experience
Work Setting
- Adult neuro medical-surgical unit
- 22 beds
- Trauma Level I
- Patient ratios: 5:1 and 6:1
Clinical Focus
- CVA
- TIA
- Inability to ambulate
- Seizure
- Common urinary and respiratory cases
- Rare cardiac cases
Additional Notes
- Candidates will take a dysrhythmia and math dosage test on day one of orientation
- Study guide will be provided in the welcome packet
- Scrubs may be any color
- Unacceptable attire includes hoodies, t-shirts, shirts with wording or pictures, and facial piercings
