RN - Home Health

Location

Portland, Maine

Job Type

Travel RN

Schedule

  • Day shift, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • 40 guaranteed hours per week
  • Weekend rotation required
  • No overnight call
  • Call-back may be required 2–4 times per month between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM

Contract Length

12 weeks

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Maine
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • 2 years of Home Health experience
  • Home Health experience within the last year
  • Travel experience required
  • BLS
  • Experience with Epic
  • Experience with OASIS

Preferred Experience

  • IV therapy
  • Tube feeds
  • VAC dressings
  • Compression wraps
  • Port access
  • Ostomies
  • Chest tubes
  • Catheter care
  • Lab draws

Patient Population

Adult patients across med surg, oncology, cardiac, neurological, respiratory, wound care, GI, and GU needs

Work Setting

Home health care

Additional Details

  • 5 openings
  • Case management load of 20–25 patients
  • Expected to complete 5–6 visits per day
  • Assigned laptop, iPhone, nursing supplies, and equipment are provided for use during the assignment
