Job Overview

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Maryland
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- CPI
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Driver's License
- CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy) experience
Clinical / Role Expectations
- Provide direct nursing care for critically ill patients
- Continuously monitor patients using advanced medical equipment
- Administer medications, fluids, and treatments per physician orders
- Assist with invasive procedures, including intubation, central line insertion, and arterial blood draws
- Manage ventilator settings and other life-support equipment
- Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and emergencies
- Maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and families
- Follow infection control protocols
- Participate in continuing education and training
