Overview

  • Performs diagnostic imaging using radiographic equipment
  • Explains exams, safety protocols, and procedures to patients
  • Works independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Assigned to one radiography area, with possible coverage in alternate locations after appropriate training

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Radiology Technologist license in Massachusetts
  • Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
  • 1 year of Radiology Technologist experience
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Certificate or Diploma in Radiography

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Radiography
  • Registered Technologist (R.T.(ARRT))
  • 0–1 year of experience in radiology technology preferred
