Surgical Tech - Travel
Location
- Morristown, New Jersey
Contract
- 13 weeks
- Day shift
- 39 hours per week
- 13 hours per day
Required Qualifications
- Surgical Technologist (1 year of experience)
- Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
- CST
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in Ortho, Neuro & Spine
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the care of surgical patients
- Handle instruments, supplies, and equipment during surgical procedures
- Anticipate the surgeon’s needs during procedures
- Maintain the sterile field and support patient safety in the operating room
- Follow physician and RN instructions and adhere to operating room policies
- Practice standard precautions and maintain a safe environment
Physical Requirements
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 35 lbs
- Ability to tolerate long periods of sitting, standing, and/or walking
