Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Kentucky
  • Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
  • 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
  • BLS
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

  • BSN
  • Previous nursing experience
  • About 2 years of experience in a busy Cath Lab

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings
  • Provide direct patient care, including nursing rounds, treatments, and procedures
  • Coordinate admissions, transfers, discharges, and discharge teaching
  • Educate patients and families
  • Delegate and oversee patient care tasks
  • Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition
  • Participate in quality improvement activities and core measures
