Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Education
- BSN or MSN from an accredited school of Nursing
Role Overview
- Provides direct clinical nursing care in a hospital setting
- Coordinates and delivers patient care using the nursing process
- Works with interdisciplinary team members to evaluate and plan patient care
- Assesses patient, family, and caregiver learning needs and provides education support
- Prioritizes care for patients with complex problems and supports discharge planning
- Participates in unit goals, performance improvement, and research-related practice improvement
