Description

Critical Care / ED Float RN

Location: Richmond, Kentucky
Contract length: 13 weeks
Schedule: 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts

Role Overview

Provide flexible nursing support across critical care and emergency settings, with coverage that may include ICU, ED, Medical-Surgical/Telemetry, Transitional Care, and Observation units. Assignments are made shift by shift based on hospital capacity and operational needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Indiana
  • Critical Care Float experience within the last year
  • 1 year of Critical Care Float experience
  • BLS
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • ED - Emergency Department experience
  • ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
  • Med Surg experience
  • Telemetry experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • BSN
  • Previous nursing experience

Key Skills

  • Ability to work across multiple clinical settings
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to assess age-specific patient safety issues and implement appropriate safety devices
  • Ability to use computer systems and applications, or be trained to do so
