Registered Nurse (RN) — Med Surg

Location: Petoskey, Michigan

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Michigan
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • 2 years of Med Surg experience
  • Med Surg experience within the last year
  • Trauma experience
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association

Work Setting

  • 28-bed medical-surgical unit
  • Patient population includes general and vascular surgery, bariatric surgery, plastic surgery, trauma, and stroke care
  • Fast-paced unit environment

Important Assignment Notes

  • Not float
  • Not SDU/telemetry
  • Strict attendance policy: termination after 3 absences or arrivals more than 20 minutes late
  • References not required
  • Travel experience preferred
  • Local travelers are defined as those with a permanent address within 35 miles of the facility
