Registered Nurse
Location
- Cincinnati, Ohio
Schedule
- 3 days per week, 24 hours per week
- 7:45am–4:30pm
- 12-week assignment
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- Clinic experience within the last year
- 1 year of clinic experience
- BLS issued by the American Heart Association
- Wound Care experience
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN
- Wound care experience
- Experience with Centricity EMR
Key Responsibilities
- Interview patients, document assessments, obtain vital signs, assist with examinations, and explain procedures and treatments
- Follow up on physician orders and lab requests, provide patient education, document care, and report significant changes or reactions
- Document nursing history and physical assessments, initiate patient education plans, and abstract patient records
- Respond to emergencies according to nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocols
- Maintain the crash cart and defibrillator
Required Skills
- Defibrillator, blood pressure monitor, EKG equipment, treadmill, and crash cart maintenance
- Copier, fax, and computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
Work Setting Notes
- Floating between locations is required
- Orientation is required in Norwood
