Labor and Delivery RN
Overview
- Travel/contract position in Pratt, Kansas
- 13-week assignment
- Night shift: 3x12s, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 36 hours per week
- Ratios: 1:2–3
- First-time travelers accepted
- Locals accepted
- Clinician may float within scope to meet facility needs
- Pending license not accepted
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Kansas
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- 2 years of postpartum experience
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
- STABLE
- AWHONN Intermediate-FHM

- EPLS/GSA/SAM check

- NURSYS verification for all RNs
- Pharmacology exam with a passing score of at least 80%
- Unit-specific competency exam with a passing score of at least 80%
- Signed confidentiality agreement
- Signed standards of performance
- Signed agency information sheet
- Completion of required training videos before start
- Completion of WorkRamp modules before start
- Review of restraints training before arrival, with return demonstration required
- Review of suicide and behavioral risk assessment training before arrival
- Review of administration of PRN medications training before arrival
- Review and sign training acknowledgement form
- Review of guidelines for appropriate conduct before arrival
- Physical exam within 12 months of start, including clearance to work and statement that the clinician is free of communicable diseases

- TB screening or chest X-ray
- TB questionnaire
