Description
RN - OR - Travel
Location
- Summit, New Jersey
Contract
- 8 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour day shift
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Jersey
- OR - Operating Room (1 year of experience)
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- CNOR certification
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
Key Responsibilities
- Performs comprehensive patient assessments across the lifespan
- Provides direct perioperative nursing care
- Maintains accurate clinical documentation
- Follows patient safety protocols, including Universal Protocol and two patient identifiers
- Delivers surgical patient care based on procedure and anesthesia type
- Supports patient education and pre- and post-operative assessment
- Evaluates pre-admission testing orders for appropriateness and completeness
- Must be able to scrub and circulate for robotics, orthopedics, neurology, and general cases
