Job Details

• Travel/contract role
• Night shift
• 4x12 schedule
• Start date: ASAP
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Possible extension

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in West Virginia
• Med Surg (2 years of experience)
• Med Surg experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Work Environment

• Patient ratio: 1:5-7
• Blocked scheduling is not guaranteed, but the unit will try to accommodate requests
• Scrubs are not provided

Submission Requirements

• Candidate profile/work history
• Specialty-specific skills checklist
• 2 manager/charge references from within the past year
• RN license verification
• Copies of all required certifications

Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID
• E-Verify proof or attestation
• Background check
• Education verification
• Color blind testing
• Physical exam
• Negative TB screening or chest X-ray
• TB questionnaire if there is a history of positive TB
• Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, hepatitis B, COVID, and flu documentation or applicable declination/exemption
• Drug testing
• Flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption during flu season
• Required facility forms, acknowledgements, and learning modules before start

Additional Notes

• Travel experience is not required
• Cerner training is required before start
• The facility expects attendance to remain within contract limits
