Cath Lab Tech
Location
Newton, New Jersey
Contract
13 weeks
Schedule
- Day shift
- 4 days per week
- 9.5 hours per day
- 1–2 weekend STEMI on-call shifts
Required Qualifications
- Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in New Jersey
- Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
- 1 year of Cath Lab Technologist experience
- BLS
- ACLS
- IABP
- High school diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications
- RCIS certification
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for cardiac cath and related procedures
- Assist with PCI/STEMI, peripheral vascular, pacemaker, and interventional radiology procedures
- Monitor, document, and calculate hemodynamic data
- Assist the physician before, during, and after procedures
- Assess and manage access sites
- Follow cath lab on-call protocol
