Job Overview

• Location: Pompton Plains, New Jersey
• Employment type: Travel allied clinical role
• Shift: Day shift
• Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 7 hours per day
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiation Therapist license in New Jersey
• Radiation Therapist (1 year of experience)
• Radiation Therapist experience within the last year
• ARRT
• Completion of an approved course in radiation therapy

Preferred Experience

• Experience using IMRT, 3D, SRS, SBRT, CBCT, and Align RT

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver radiation therapy treatments and operate treatment units with minimal supervision
• Perform daily and monthly linac and CT QA
• Perform IGRT, SBRT treatment, and portal imaging
• CT simulate patients following department and site-specific protocols
• Construct immobilization devices, electron blocks, and cerrobend blocks as needed
• Use IV contrast for simulation when needed
• Perform respiratory gating and ACQ simulation
• Maintain and verify treatment management records and treatment planning information
• Attend weekly chart rounds
• Follow department policies, safety standards, and radiation protection procedures
• Operate CT on rails for IGRT delivery and document shift tracking in MOSAIQ
