Rad Tech 2 UP
Location
- Normal, Illinois
Contract
- 20 weeks
- Day shift
- 4x10s
- 6:00 PM–7:30 AM
- On-call rotation
- May float to all procedural areas
Required Qualifications
- Cath Lab Technologist (1 year of experience)
- Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- ARRT (R)
- Associate's degree in a related field or certificate in radiologic technology
- Cardiac Cath Lab Experience
- Cath Lab Radiology Technologist experience
- Interventional Radiology Technologist experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Neuro Interventional experience
- EP experience
Job Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in the invasive lab for invasive cardiology and invasive radiology studies
- Assist the physician during interventional procedures
- Work as a scrub and monitor technician on a rotating basis
- Administer contrast material when applicable
- Administer medication within scope of practice
- Maintain a sterile field during procedures
- Assess patients for allergies
- Document accurately and completely
- Operate imaging and physiological monitoring equipment and perform basic troubleshooting
- Perform on-call duties and variable shifts as needed
