Ultrasound Tech - General
Overview
- Location: Seattle, Washington
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Contract length: 18 weeks
- Shift: Day/Eve
- Schedule options: 4x10s or 5x8s
- Weekend coverage may be required
- May need to work up to two weeks of night shifts
- Holiday availability is required if the unit needs coverage
- Floating may include the ER, portables, OR, and ICU
Required Qualifications
- Ultrasound Technologist (0.5 years of experience)
- Ultrasound Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- RDMS-AB
- Experience working with Pediatric patients
- Experience working with Neonate patients
- Experience in a(n) Inpatient setting
- Vascular procedure experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Outpatient experience
- Level I Trauma experience
- Teaching hospital experience
- Children’s hospital experience
- EPIC familiarity
- Rad Net familiarity
- RDMS-peds certification
- RVT certification
Additional Notes
- The unit provides general pediatric ultrasound and vascular lab services
- Common case types include DVTs, post-PICC line studies, IJs, peripheral vascular studies, ED appendicitis and testicular cases, ICU portables, and transplant-related imaging
