Respiratory Therapist
Job Overview
- Travel/contract role in Cleveland, Ohio
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
- 36 hours per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Weekends as needed
- May float as needed
Required Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
- Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Ohio
- NBRC
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- Must submit copies of required certifications with the application
- Must include all work history in the profile, including any prior work at the same facility system
- Two recent satisfactory pre-employment references
- Application must include 3 years of prior work history, including at least 2 years of clinical practice in an acute care setting and in a similar area to the assignment
Compliance / Onboarding Requirements
- Government-issued photo ID
- Criminal background check
- Monthly EPLS/GSA/SAM check
- Monthly HHS/OIG check
- Transcript or diploma
- FBI and BCI fingerprinting within 12 months of start
- HIPAA acknowledgement
- Unit-specific competency exam within 12 months of start
- Facility badge photo on file before start
- Online training modules must be completed before orientation
- I9/E-Verify attestation
- Pre-employment physical within 1 year of start
- Fit mask within 12 months of start
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray, depending on history
- TB questionnaire if there is a history of past positive TB
- Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, varicella, and flu documentation or exemption as applicable
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 12 months of start
- Unit-specific skills checklist
- Valid government-issued photo ID must be carried while on assignment
Scheduling / Assignment Notes
- All requested time off and scheduling requests must be communicated during submission and interview
- Online modules must be completed on a computer using Chrome
- Badge pickup is required before start after modules are complete
