CT Technologist
Location
Chapel Hill, North Carolina
Schedule
- Nights
- 40 hours per week
- 10 hours per day
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- CT Technologist (1 year of experience)
- CT Technologist experience within the last year
- ARRT (CT)
- BLS
- Completion of an accredited educational program in Radiological Science
- Previous Siemens experience
Relevant Job Duties
- Perform CT procedures and tests to acquire and analyze diagnostic data
- Verify patient identity, collect patient history, and confirm pregnancy status when applicable
- Obtain CT images per protocol and perform multi-planar and 3D reconstruction
- Administer oral and IV contrast according to protocol, including IV line placement and lab value checks before contrast injection
- Manage image transfer and order workflow, including image verification, order updates, and duplicate order cancellation
- Maintain accurate charge and demographic information
- Support workflow, documentation, chart review, and precepting of new employees and students
Additional Notes
- Previous Siemens experience is required
