Physical Therapist
Job Overview
- Location: Northport, Alabama
- Employment type: Travel
- Schedule: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, Monday–Friday
- Weekend requirement: One weekend per month
- Holidays: As required
- Setting: Inpatient and acute units
- Patient load: 6 patients per day
- Floating: Required
- Onsite: Physical presence is essential
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
- Valid Physical Therapist license in Alabama
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Physical Therapist experience within the last year
- 2 years of Physical Therapist experience
Responsibilities
- Complete evaluations and develop plans of care
- Collaborate with patients, families, and other disciplines
- Provide therapeutic interventions and patient education
- Complete required documentation

Physical Requirements
- Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must be able to tolerate prolonged sitting and/or standing
- Must be able to exert continual physical effort, including pushing, pulling, bending, climbing, lifting, and walking
- Normal or corrected vision and hearing required
- Exposure to bodily fluids, disease, infection, and hazardous materials may occur
- Protective or safety equipment may be required
