Job Overview

• Location: Cleveland, Ohio
• Employment type: Long-term assignment
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• Schedule preference: 5 x 8-hour shifts preferred; 4 x 10-hour day shifts may be possible
• Call required: about 1 call shift per week in a 6-week schedule, plus 1–2 weekend call shifts
• Must be able to respond to the hospital within 30 minutes when called

Required Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist with 1 year of experience
• Certified Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
• BLS issued by the American Heart Association
• Driver's License

Compliance / Onboarding Requirements

• Negative TB test within the last 6 months
• MMR immunity or titers within the last 15 years
• Varicella immunity or titers within the last 15 years
• Hepatitis B immunity, completed vaccine series, or signed declination
• Tdap vaccination within the last 10 years
• Influenza vaccine proof required October through March, or approved declination/medical accommodation
• Fit test completed within 1 year prior to start
• Physical exam statement within 1 year prior to start confirming ability to work without restrictions
• Background check, OIG search, SAM/EPLS/GSA/OFAC screening, drug screen, education verification, employment verification, I-9 attestation, core competencies, competency exam, and required training modules must be completed before clearance

• Candidates who decline influenza vaccination must wear a mask at all times while working
• This role is in a level 3 trauma center
