NICU Registered Nurse

Job Overview

Travel/contract role in Cincinnati, Ohio
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Every other weekend
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Ohio
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (2 years of experience)
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Ventilator experience
Tracheostomy experience

Preferred Qualifications

Pediatric experience

Schedule

36 hours per week

Additional Notes

Unit cares for high-acuity neonates, including surgical, gastrointestinal, respiratory, and neurological conditions
Common equipment includes ventilators, high-flow nasal cannula, CPAP, nitric oxide, EVDs, shunts, G-tubes, trachs, arterial lines, peritoneal dialysis, oscillators, and bili lights/blankets
