Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Overview

• Travel/contract role in Cleveland, Ohio
• Night shift: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
• 13-week contract
• 36 hours per week
• Must work at least every other holiday

Required Qualifications

• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Valid RN license in Ohio
• ED - Emergency Department (1.5 years of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• PALS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Preferred Qualifications

• TNCC certification

Orientation / Onboarding Requirements

• ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate exam are completed during orientation and must be passed
• Background check required before start
• Fingerprinting required before start
• Education verification required
• Employment application must include 3 years of prior work history, including at least 2 years of clinical practice in an acute care setting and in a similar area to the assignment
• 2 references required from employment within the past year

Health Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Fit mask clearance within 12 months of start and updated annually
• Tdap vaccination or documentation current within 10 years
• TB screening within 12 months of start and updated annually
• Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B immunity/vaccination documentation required
• Drug screen within 12 months of start and updated annually
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required
