Description
Labor and Delivery RN
Location
- Battle Creek, Michigan
Contract
- Travel/contract assignment
- Up to 26 weeks
- Night shift, 3x12 hours
- 36 hours per week
Schedule and assignment expectations
- Holiday coverage is required, and holiday time off must remain flexible
- No time off during the first 2 weeks of the contract
- Every other weekend required
- Will work in all areas of LDRP
- May float to sit as a sitter when needed
- May float to Kalamazoo when needed and census allows
Required qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Valid RN license in Michigan
- Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- AWHONN Intermediate or NCC C-EFM
- Circulate
- Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) Triage
Preferred qualifications
- AWHONN Advanced
- Scrub experience
Unit details
- 15-bed LDRP unit
- 3 triage bays
- 2 operating rooms
- Staffing follows AWHONN guidelines
Additional notes
- Scrubs are provided
- Training will be provided for newborn infant hearing screens
- No call required
