RN - PCU
Overview
- Travel RN position in Johnstown, Pennsylvania
- Specialty: Telemetry/PCU, cardiac
- Contract length: 6 weeks
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
- Shift flexibility required: days, nights, and mids
- Weekend coverage: every other weekend, depending on unit needs
- Call: none
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Cardiac Cath experience

- Rapid response assignment
- No RTO
- Not normally floated; may float to 1:1s depending on needs
- Patient population includes cardiac geriatric patients
- Common diagnoses/treatments include CP, MI, open heart, Watchman, TAVR, post-op cardiac cath, and post-op pacer
- Equipment includes pacer and A-lines
- Scrub color: any
- Unacceptable attire: hoodies
- Piercings: only nose studs allowed
