Registered Nurse — Mother Baby
Location

Role Summary
- Provides direct patient care on the unit, including assessments, treatments, nursing rounds, admission/transfer/discharge support, patient and family education, care coordination, and individualized treatment planning.
- Uses the nursing process, critical thinking, and evidence-based practice to support patient healing, wellness, and safety.
- Participates in quality improvement activities and supports a positive, collaborative care environment.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse license in Kentucky
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and document comprehensive patient assessments.
- Develop and revise the plan of care based on patient needs and responses.
- Implement therapies and procedures within RN scope of practice.
- Communicate changes in patient condition and respond appropriately.
- Mentor staff and nursing students, and help orient new staff.
- Support unit-based professional governance and quality improvement efforts.
