Registered Respiratory Therapist
Job Overview
- Travel/contract role in Seattle, Washington
- 13-week assignment
- Night shift, 3x12 hours
- 36 hours per week
- Floating required to all inpatient and acute care areas
- Weekend shifts required
- On-call not required
Required Qualifications
- Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU (2 years of experience)
- Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- Experience working with Neonate patients
- Experience working with Infant patients
- Experience working with Pediatric patients
- Experience working with Adolescent patients
- Airways Management
- Ventilator Management
- BiPAP
- Registered Respiratory Therapist experience
Patient Population
- Neonates
- Infants
- Pediatrics
- Adolescents
Required Skills

Scheduling Notes
- No RTO within the first 2 weeks of start
- Only 3 shifts of RTO can be approved
- Traveler must work 2 of the 3 holiday groupings
- RTO must be included on the initial submission to be considered
Preferred Experience
- Trauma experience
- Level 1 trauma experience
- ER experience
- Teaching or community hospital experience
- Children’s hospital experience
Additional Notes
- Candidates without an active Washington license may need a later start date to allow time for licensure processing
- Orientation starts on Mondays
- Start dates are being accepted
