Description
EP Lab RN
Overview
- Travel/contract RN role in Columbus, Ohio
- Day shift: 4x10 hours, 8:00 AM–6:30 PM
- 40 hours per week
- ASAP start preferred
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- Electrophysiology Lab (2 years of experience)
- Electrophysiology Lab experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with Epic
Unit Details
- Electrophysiology lab setting
- Core procedures include cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, cardioversion, conduction studies, pacemaker/defibrillator lead extraction and removal, pacemaker insertion, arrhythmia induction, baseline measurements, insertion/programming of AICDs, and LAA closure
Schedule and Call
- Travelers participate in weekday and weekend call every two months
- Weekday call runs from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM after the regular shift
- Weekend call is 24-hour coverage
- Call-ins are generally low and are most often for pacemaker cases
Additional Notes
- First-time travelers are accepted
- Epic familiarity is listed as a skill requirement
- Parking is available with paid permit options
