Job Overview
- Location: Raleigh, North Carolina
- Employment type: Travel

- Float: May work on 4 different units
- Weekend schedule: Every other / as needed
- Call: None
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- Psychiatric (2 years of experience)
- Psychiatric experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS certification
- HWC certification, which can be completed on site
- CPR certification within 30 days of employment and before any patient contact
- Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment and before any patient contact
- Must be at least 21 years old
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in a psychiatric health care facility
- Direct experience with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, and geriatric patients
- Experience with patient assessments, family motivation, treatment planning, and communication with external review organizations or comparable entities
Schedule Notes
- Orientation is biweekly on Mondays
- May be required to work flexible hours and overtime
