Emergency Room RN
Overview
- Location: Austin, Texas
- Employment type: Long-term assignment
- Contract length: 12 weeks
- Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
- Role summary: Provides direct nursing care, monitors and communicates patient condition, coordinates care across disciplines, and assists with discharge planning. Also trains as a relief charge nurse and provides critical response support to the med/surg department.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- PALS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- NRP
- TNCC
- NIH Certification
- CPI
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Driver's License
