Cath Lab Tech
Location
Torrance, California
Contract
- Travel/contract assignment
- 13 weeks
- Day shift: 3x12 hours, 6:30 AM–7:00 PM
- 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in California
- Cath Lab Technologist (2 years of experience)
- Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ARRT
- Fluoroscopy
Special Requirements
- Experience with Impella
- Experience with Rotablader
- Experience with IABP
Schedule Expectations
- Weekend shifts required
- On-call required: 1 night per week
- No floating
- No scheduling requests can be accommodated
Clinical Setting
- Average caseload of 4–7 cases per day
- May assist with left and right heart caths, coronary angiograms, PCI, high-risk PCI with supportive devices, thrombectomies, temporary and permanent pacemaker/AICD insertions, and pericardiocentesis
Submission Notes
- 2 updated supervisory or higher references are required at submission
- Flu vaccination is required during flu season
